Fall is finally here! Now let's all hope the weather starts feeling like fall.
Homework went home today, sorry I didn't get it to everyone on Friday. Please let me know if you don't have a packet for this week. This week we are learning about the letters L and H. Please practice at home by having your student find as many things in the house that start with these letters. We are also working on the -at family with words like sat, cat, fat, mat, hat, bat, etc.
In math we are continuing our numbers through 10 as well as AB patterns and ABB patterns. An example of an AB pattern would be red, blue, red, blue. An example of an ABB pattern would be red, blue, blue, red, blue, blue. Practice at home by seeing if your family can make a pattern using objects from around the house such as forks and spoons!
Conferences are coming up next week. Everyone will be getting conference slips sent home shortly. Every one's conferences will be scheduled for Thursday between 12pm and 615pm. Please try your hardest to keep your scheduled appointment since there is no wiggle room. If there is no way for you to make your assigned time, please let me know ASAP so we can schedule you for a morning time. Thank you in advance for your understanding while I try to fit everyone in on Thursday. Also, keep in mind that conferences are only 15 minutes per student. If you feel you would like more than 15 minutes with me, please let me know so we can move you to a morning conference.
Thursday, October 7th (conference day) school will let out at 11:15am. There is no school for AM kids on Friday, October 8th. Kinder express kids will come to school from 8:15-11:15am.

On Friday October 29th we will be having our Harvest Party. Students will be allowed to dress up on this day. I am in need of lots of parents who will be willing to help run the party from 9-11am. If you are interesting in helping plan the harvest party with me I would love some help! I would love to put together a committee to help me plan and get ready for all of our parties throughout the year. If you are interested in being part of the party committee please let me know!
